From authentic teaching to a team that never stops showing up, here’s what sets IQ Centre apart.
Every class and workshop is grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah, taught by people who genuinely care about passing on sound knowledge.
From young children in the Maktab to sisters, brothers and elders, our programmes are built so there’s a place for everyone.
IQ Centre runs on the time and effort of committed staff and volunteers who turn up week after week for this community.
IQ Centre continues to serve the community through youth activities, Islamic programmes, classes, events, brotherhood and sisterhood gatherings and outreach projects, all through the support of sincere donors. Setting up a monthly donation, even a small one, helps us plan ahead and keep growing for the sake of Allah.
IQ Centre is the community centre run by the Institute of Qur'anic Studies in Tyseley, Birmingham. We offer Islamic education, youth and family programmes, fitness classes, social events and community outreach for brothers, sisters and children.
You can register as an IQ Member through our website or in person at the centre. Membership gets you verified access to our community, jobs board, and exclusive events and opportunities.
We run a dedicated Maktab, a Youth Club, and regular youth focused events and trips, alongside fitness classes like boxing and jujitsu for younger members.
You can set up a monthly donation using the bank details on our website, or get involved as a volunteer. Every contribution, big or small, helps us keep our programmes running.
Education That Sticks. Our Maktab and Qur’anic classes are built around real understanding, not just memorisation, so lessons carry into everyday life.
